Tris Fenwick
Managing Director - North Asia (Japan, Korea and China)

Tris Fenwick is the Managing Director of First Advantage Japan, Korea and China and is responsible for the operations in all three regions.

Tris has been with First Advantage Japan, since its inception in 1999. He has spearheaded the company's growth to establish FADV Japan as the leading pre-employment screening company in North Asia. The company specializes in screening services and company due diligence in Japan and Korea.

Tris holds a degree in Law from London University and has rich experience in investigation and consulting businesses. Prior to joining FADV, he worked as the Managing Director of Pinkerton Consulting (M) SDNBHD, running their Malaysian operations. He has managed a broad range of corporate security products including general investigations, fraud audits, crisis management/evacuation planning, information security programs, 'kick back' investigations, corporate and individual due diligence and physical security audits.

Prior to Pinkerton, Tris was a Detective Senior Inspector in the Royal Hong Kong Police Force and handled a team of detectives in the specialist division of Commercial Crime Bureau focusing on banking frauds. Tris has also provided anti fraud training to the Hong Kong financial community.

Tris is regularly invited to speak at various industry organizations and has made presentations in OSAC, ASIS, ACCJ and various other security forums.

Tris is a keen mountain hiker and runner and regularly participates in charity runs and events. With a keen interest in the Outdoors, Tris spends most of his free time exploring the mountains of Japan with his wife and two sons.
