Peter Stackpole joined First Advantage Corporation (NASDAQ: FADV) as Managing Director – South Asia in July 2006. He is responsible for all operations of First Advantage’s Employer Services segment in Australia and New Zealand.

Currently, Peter’s focus is driving the Australia and New Zealand region towards offering an even broader range of services on a local, regional and global basis to cater to organizations recruiting in a skills-short, global recruitment market. Peter is dedicated to the advancement of the background screening industry and is currently developing new technology and screening solutions that will mark a quantum leap in background screening practices.

Peter has over 17 years experience in the recruitment and background screening industry. His Bachelor of Economics, with a double major in Economics and Accounting, from La Trobe University, led him to begin his career in the recruitment industry with Adecco. Peter then went on to expand his expertise in the industry with roles in Morgan and Banks Recruitment and TMP Worldwide.

Prior to joining First Advantage, Peter was joint principal of Refsure Worldwide. When Peter joined Refsure, it was a start-up company offering background checks in what was then a niche industry. Peter’s involvement was instrumental in the company becoming the largest background screening company in Australasia.

Peter is a regular contributor to industry seminars at human resources and educational forums across Australia. He has recently been a guest on various radio programs and national news bulletins, and is widely recognized as a thought leader in the background screening industries of Australia and New Zealand.

Peter, a long term fitness fanatic, has recently revived the running regime of his youth so as to compete in running events such as the Sydney Half Marathon.
