Haren Samarasekera
Sales Management Director - APAC

As the Sales Management Director - APAC, Haren is responsible for the sales operations across the Asia Pacific region. Based out of the regional Head Office in Singapore, Haren comes with a background in sales and marketing in the Enterprise Services sector in the region.

Currently, Haren is spearheading expansion of First Advantage's foot print in the Asia Pacific region. This includes the focus on increasing the level of penetration within the background screening space - a market segment dominated by the Company - and the expansion of the product range to include the full continuum of First Advantage's Talent Acquisition Management Solution offerings in the region.

A Marketer by profession, Haren has a Masters in Business Management and is currently reading for his Doctorate in Cross-cultural management. He has been a keen believer in maintaining a strong balance between work, life and professional development. He has also been involved as a visiting faculty member for a number of Masters programs in Sri Lanka.

Prior to joining First Advantage, Haren spent over 5 years with a leading Enterprise IT Solutions organization in the region, where he climbed through the ranks to lead the Asia Pacific Marketing operations after joining as a junior manager in South Asia.

In a career spanning 13 years, Haren, has worked in various capacities in Sales, Marketing and Operations Management across South Asia and Asia Pacific. His experience in the region extends over number of industries such as Enterprise IT Solutions, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverage and Industrial Equipment.

Haren enjoys the Outdoors and sports such as Cricket and Rugby, which he actively pursues. He lives with his wife and son in Singapore.
